After two years of planning, it’s officially the start of SeaTrek’s very first FATHOMS Bahamas voyage!
One by one our 15 students began arriving in Nassau and were escorted to the boat we chartered for the voyage. She is a 65-foot sailing schooner named the Avalon. (you can click there to see pictures of the Avalon!) We also met the crew and settled into our new home. Shortly after dinner students were showing signs of some travel-related drowsiness so we briefly discussed the voyage itinerary and then went to bed early to rest up for the beginning of our adventure.
